Syrah, Grenache 
 

Aged in steel vats.

Intense nose of ripe black fruits (blackberry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, and spices [pepper]). Fleshy, expressive, balanced palate.

Syrah, Grenache (more 30 years old)

1/3 Aged in demi-muid for 9 months and the other in steel vats.

Coloured appearance with purple reflections. Expressive nose with compote notes of blueberries, blackberries and Mediterranean notes (rosemary, fresh bay leaf). The palate is balanced and bright. The freshness of this wine gives it a beautiful modernity with a black olive finish.

Cartagène

Traditional liqueur wine from Languedoc
Red Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah

Intense nose of candied red fruits.

Nice balance on the palate for a fruit brandy.

The Cartagène of Domaine Galtier is made from freshly crushed grape must diluted with Languedoc wine brandy, followed by oak barrel ageing for approximately 18 months.

To be served either as an aperitif or a dessert wine: with a rum baba, a seasonal fruit tart, a dark chocolate dessert ....
